Summer Student Program
Summer Student Work Experience Program
Program description:
Chief Ahtahkakoop School is focused on the success of our students before, during and after graduation, and strive to build a strong platform for our students to succeed after graduation.

In spirit of this we offer our Grade 12 graduates of Chief Ahtahakakoop School the opportunity to work the summer after their graduation. Each student is placed in one of the agencies within the community for an average of 7 to 8 weeks. The students will be paid minimum wage for the duration of their term employment and will gain a number of transferable skills that will help transition them into the work force.

In order to be considered for the Summer student work program, students require a social insurance number (SIN) and will have to fill out an evaluation form at the end of their placement to help us to continue to improve this program and its deliveries.
