Graduation

Have a complete Grade 11 or are working towards completing your Grade 11 (i.e. short one or two credits to be complete).
Have a minimum of fourteen credits
Have the following Grade 12 credits: English Language Arts A30, English Language Arts B30, and Native Studies 30.
Have a minimum of 20 credits by February 28th of the school year.

There are situations where exceptions may be made. Such exceptions are considered and approved by the Principal of Ahtahkakoop School.

The Graduation Ceremony takes place the third Friday of June of each school year. If a change in date occurs the school will notify
Students will be issued $150.00 Graduation Allowance from the school. Band members will also receive an additional $150.00. These cheques are issued one month prior to graduation. If the one month mark falls on a weekend the cheque will be issued the Friday or Monday closest to that date.
Cap and gown pictures are done and paid for by the school. We will have an initial cap and gown done in October to display in the hallway showcase. Official cap and gown photos will be taken in May or once the grad list is finalized. If you wish to book your own photo session but please bring a copy of your photo so we can use it for the graduation ceremony.
